the movie always say how come people dont take time to enjoy their surroundings and all. and as i walked around today, around singapore, i think i realise why.
city life, we dont enjoy our surrounding because our surrounding has nothing nice to offer.
dirty streets, ugly secrets, stained humanity.
behind our supposedly clean and green city lies something that is utterly disgusting.
that is what makes city life cold, inhumane, unbearable.
it's not the city that is cold and lifeless,
it's the people behind it.
the people without morals.
the people who live by standards of being "kiasu" and "kiasi".
the poeple who only live by for themselves.
the people who think only the strongest survive.
i want to get away from this city.
this life.
i want to end my own lifelessness
grow my own inspiration and create something brand new.
write more music
learn more stuff.
take a new breath of air.
new life.
free.
