okay. i know its weird im blogging about this dude.
but i blogged about him once like 3 or 4 years ago after watching dragon tiger gate.
but the post is lost ):

so i wna blog again!
long post fyi.
with old corny photos.

and yes. he does have some weird costumes/ looks designed for him.




he has been out in the showbiz for like freaking long, and usually acting mostly as bad guys or smthg in jackie chan leading movies or jet li ones.

but i really noticed him after he acted in dragon tiger gate.
the way he acted in it (albeit the stupid story line), how he protected the girl and how he carried her body at the end of the scene where she dies...

its still stuck in my head.

anyway, i'm mad about hands.
so, yes, donnie yen has mad awesome hands.

and the hands are clearer in the movies cos the screen is so big!

i dont know why.
but i just have a thing for hands.

not the arms, or biceps or whatever, but the hands...
its so pretty.

he seems like a good dad, but i dont know la, since its all pictures and mags.

but the way he puts his arm around her.
i'm reminded of iceboy. (and yes, i miss him badly)
it's like what mabel in ij told me once "he's putting a boundary to other people, cos' you're his!"
(argh omg i miss him!)

and by the way, im reminded of donnie yen cos i watched 14blades recently.
that kind of guy qing long is (not the orphan poor boy thing)..
its what i dig.

honestly, gentlemanly! covering a blanket for qiaohua and the foresight (sort of) to force her to mend his coat so that it can be used as a blanket for her later, and that thing about choices, the attitude while buying clothes for qiaohua... omg to die for.
i want someone like him!

okay sorry.
that was bimbotic i know, but then how qing long is portrayed in the movie seriously pull my heartstrings.

that was how the character xiao long or xiao hu (whichever he was) was portrayed too!!!
im mad in love with the characters portrayed.
although i dont really love his look la.
the fake wig to give him the weird fringe in dragon tiger gate and that curly hair in 14blades.


but still.
i think he has that sense of chivalry in his looks.
